You will need:
- 1 pound RM Palmer Belgian Milk Chocolate Mega Coin
- white frosting
- clear sugar sprinkles
- green gumdrops
- snowball snack cake
- white fondant
- RM Palmer Milk Chocolate Holiday Bells
- black & orange edible markers
- orange flower sprinkles
- jumbo snowflake sprinkles (optional)
Unwrap the RM Palmer Belgian Milk Chocolate Mega Coin — it’s big and makes a perfect base for a snowy scene.
1. Frost the top of the coin evenly with white frosting to create a snow-covered surface.
2. While the frosting is still tacky, sprinkle clear crystal sugar sprinkles over the top for a sparkling snow effect.
3. Roll a small piece of white fondant and use a toothpick to score lines that mimic the blocks of an igloo.
4. Attach that fondant piece to the side of a snowball snack cake to form the igloo dome. Use a dab of frosting to secure it if needed.
5. To make the chocolate penguins, gather RM Palmer Milk Chocolate Holiday Bells, white fondant, edible markers, and sprinkles.
6. Unwrap each chocolate bell. Roll out white fondant and cut small circles (a mini cookie cutter or a frosting tip works well).
7. Make a slight indent in each fondant circle with a toothpick so it sits flush against the bell.
8. Press the fondant circle onto the front of each chocolate bell to create the penguin belly.
9. Draw penguin eyes and a beak with black and orange edible markers to give each penguin a face.
10. Attach penguin feet with a small dab of frosting and stick on orange flower sprinkles as the feet.
11. Make gumdrop trees by skewering two green gumdrops on a toothpick and frosting the top to hold them together.
12. Arrange the frosted chocolate coin on a serving plate, then place the igloo, chocolate penguins, and gumdrop trees on top. Add jumbo snowflake sprinkles or extra crystal sugar for a finishing touch.
For a playful display, cover the scene with a clear bowl to create a snow globe effect. This makes a charming centerpiece or a fun edible gift.
