Gochujang wings
A fail-safe wing recipe: crispy air-fryer wings tossed in a glossy, slightly spicy gochujang sauce that balances heat with honeyed sweetness.

Ingredients

Wings

  • 1 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • ½ tbsp salt
  • ½ tbsp black pepper

Gochujang sauce

  • 1.5 tbsp gochujang
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions

Wings

  • Wash and pat the chicken wings dry.
  • Toss the wings with oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  • Air-fry at 375°F (190°C) for about 15 minutes, or until the wings are cooked through and crisp.

Sauce

  • Combine gochujang, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and water in a small saucepan.
  • Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Adjust sweetness or heat to taste.
